Below the main station, the river runs fast,
Through tunnels built so long ago.
Loud in the darkness, it thunders and roars,
Until back into sunlight it flows.
Next to the Aire the canal is so calm,
Which once connected cities so great,
But now it is still, a place to relax,
Or walk with a very slow gait.
